There are several reasons for working with another person. Depending on your goals and the issues being addressed, you might need one session, a package of three sessions or work over several months. Often a specific event can be addressed in one to three sessions. Inter-related events or a pattern of events require more time.

EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a universal healing tool that is based on the body’s meridian system. It is easy to learn and the basic protocol takes only minutes to apply. EFT is also a serious healing modality with many aspects to master. EFT can be used alone or with a practitioner. You don’t have to believe in EFT or understand how it works in order to get results. Beginners and experts and folks in-between all have benefited from it. EFT is based on the discovery statement by Gary Craig:
“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”
You can use EFT to address both physical and emotional issues. There is often an immediate shift in emotions, often felt like a relaxing or release. There is often a quick shift in physical sensations.

EFT was founded by Gary Craig, based partly on Roger Callahan’s work in Thought Field Therapy. Callahan discovered that by tapping on an meridian ending/beginning point, emotional phobias could be cured in minutes. He developed specific protocols to address a wide variety of issues. Gary Craig built on his work, developing an easy-to-use protocol that is easy to learn.
Gary Craig’s original website http://www.emofree.com held a treasure of information with 1000′s of case studies. After Gary’s retirement, he transferred the content to www.EFTUniverse.com. He’s now back writing again on emofree.
