Feeling too busy

Healing yourself, loving the world

It’s been ages since I wrote a tapping script.  (More to say about tapping scripts in the next blog post.)   Today is the day before Halloween and I’ve been feeling a bit busy.   I have a lot on my schedule the next four weeks.  This evening, after a full day, I was noticing how stressed I was feeling in my body;  I rated it an 8/10.

The tapping I did below really hit the spot.  What surprised me is the shift from feeling stressed overall to noticing I was tired in the moment.  After tapping a few rounds, the stressed feeling dropped out to a 0/1.   I was still tired but I felt much more at ease in my body.

Feeling too busy

Even though I’m feeling stressed about everything I have to do, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I’m feeling this pressure in my body about the things I have to do, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I’m feeling squished and there’s not enough time, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I’m feeling tired this afternoon, and I don’t have energy to do anything else *today*, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Moving through the points:

Feeling stressed about the next four weeks

Feeling tense about the next four weeks

Feeling compressed

There isn’t enough time

I have too much to do

Feeling tired

Feeling stressed

Feeling tense

I have so much to do in the next four weeks.

What if I look at just what’s next?

What if I make a list and let my list handle things?

What do I have to do just today?

I realize I’m feeling tired right now

Feeling tired now

I only have one more thing to do today

Taking one thing at a time

Slowing down a bit

There is enough time.

Easing into the body

After tapping, I noticed my stress levels dropping quite a bit.   I also felt relief noticing I was feeling tired and there is nothing else I need to get done today. I’ve tapped on feeling busy before; this time I could feel a powerful shift and easing into my body.
